These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of indiev.in, operated by Indiev (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing, browsing, registering, purchasing, or using any services provided through the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
By using this website, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under applicable laws.
2. Nature of Service
Indiev provides products, dropshipping services, reseller support services, supplier listings, and related business services through its platform for both domestic (India) and international customers.
The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any product, service, feature, pricing plan, or offering at any time without prior notice.
3. User Accounts
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account. The Company shall not be liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to safeguard account information.
4. Orders and Acceptance
All orders placed through the website are subject to acceptance and availability. The Company reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at its sole discretion. Prices, product descriptions, images, and availability are subject to change without notice.
5. Payments
All payments must be made through approved payment methods offered by the Company (in INR for domestic and applicable currencies for international buyers). Orders may be processed only after successful receipt of payment. The Company reserves the right to suspend services or orders in case of payment disputes, chargebacks, or suspected fraudulent activity.
COD Handling Fee: A non-refundable COD handling or processing fee is charged on Cash on Delivery orders to cover collection costs. This handling fee is strictly non-refundable in the event of a return or order cancellation.
6. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, specifications, and images are accurate. However, actual products may vary slightly in color, packaging, design, size, or appearance due to manufacturing updates, photography limitations, or supplier changes. Such variations shall not be considered defects.
7. Shipping and Delivery (Domestic & International)
- Domestic Deliveries (India): Estimated delivery within 4-6 business days from dispatch.
- International Deliveries (Worldwide): Estimated delivery within 10-21 business days from dispatch, subject to international courier handling and customs clearance.
- Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by logistics partners, international customs holds, weather conditions, government actions, strikes, natural disasters, or supplier delays.
8. Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)
For international shipments, any local customs duties, import taxes, value-added taxes (VAT), or clearance fees charged by the destination country must be borne entirely by the customer. Indiev is not responsible for these additional charges.
9. Returns and Refunds (Domestic & International)
- Domestic Returns: Return requests must be raised within 5 days of delivery.
- International Returns: Return requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery. International customers are responsible for bearing their own return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
- Products must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with tags intact. Hygiene products (innerwear, personal care, etc.) are non-returnable unless received damaged or defective.
10. Reseller & Supplier Responsibilities
Resellers and suppliers using the platform must ensure complete compliance with applicable laws, accurate product descriptions, and maintenance of high quality and safety standards.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on indiev.in including logos, trademarks, text, graphics, software, images, designs, and website content is owned by or licensed to Indiev. No content may be copied or used without prior written permission.
12. Prohibited Activities
Users shall not violate laws, upload false information, attempt unauthorized system access, distribute malware, or infringe intellectual property rights. Accounts involved in such activities may be terminated.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Indiev shall not be liable for loss of profits, business opportunities, indirect or consequential damages, or supplier-related delays. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the specific product or service.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Indiev, its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the website or violation of these Terms.
15. Account Suspension and Termination
The Company reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to any account at its sole discretion for violations of these Terms.
16. Privacy
Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, consenting to the collection and use of information as described therein.
17. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, governmental actions, internet outages, labor disputes, international customs delays, or supplier/dropshipping fulfillment failures.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms (whether domestic or international transactions) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
19. Changes to Terms
The Company may update these Terms from time to time without prior notice. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
